Great question! It's normal for objects to leave indentations in the epoxy, and this will come out at normal room temperatures. To remove indentations quickly, just use a blow dryer or heat gun gingerly. As the material continues to harden over 30 days, it'll be harder. Heavy objects will leave indentations but will come out with these methods. We recommend heavy items that will sit for hours on the countertops with heat like Crock-Pots or griddles to put a cutting board underneath these items to keep the epoxy from denting.
The reason behind this is that we originally created the product to be solid and hard, but it would crack under any pressure on countertop overhangs, etc. We found this small amount of flex to be our happy medium since the indentations come out anyway.
Have a great day and give us a call for project support!
